Kestrel 4200 is a handheld airflow measurement instrument specifically designed for HVAC, allowing you to obtain accurate weather data anytime, anywhere. With just a few buttons, airflow information can be displayed on the screen in the form of data or tables.
For HAVC, public health and safety, and equipment maintenance, only one instrument is needed to obtain comprehensive meteorological data for environmental monitoring. Kestrel 4200 combines the features of Kestrel 4000 and Kestrel 4100, and uses built-in wet bulb temperature and atmospheric pressure sensors, making the application of HAVC simpler.
Like Kestrel 4100, Kestrel 4200 can automatically record volumetric air flow rate by simply placing the instrument into the pipeline to obtain volumetric air flow data without any calculations. In addition, each parameter can be displayed in three forms: current data, maximum/minimum/average data, or charts; The screen can display three commonly used parameters simultaneously.
Kestrel 4200 can be set to automatically collect data at intervals (or manually), and the chart can display 1600 data points, each with a time and date. Optional data connection cable to upload data to the computer.
By using bright background light, data can be read clearly even in low light conditions.
Kestrel 4200 is a rotating cup anemometer with a compact size and easy portability. Using high-precision bearings and lightweight impellers, it can accurately measure wind speed values, even in very low wind speeds (as low as 0.3m/s). If the impeller is damaged, it can be replaced.
Kestrel 4200 can also calculate the wind chill index, heat index, dew point temperature, and density height based on measurement data from various sensors. Wind chill is a human perception of wind speed and low temperature. The higher the wind speed, the lower the perceived temperature; The heat index is a human perception of temperature and relative humidity. The higher the relative humidity, the higher the perceived temperature; Dew point temperature refers to the temperature at which air cools to saturation without changing its water vapor content or air pressure.
It can be powered by 2 AAA batteries, replaceable, and has 2 power-saving modes to extend battery life. Available languages: English, French, Italian, Spanish, and German.
